Meet the managing director 

 

Shane Furnell ~ Passion. Dedication. Customer Service.

 

 

Shane Furnell had a very interesting start in the world of business.

 

After leaving school at the tender age of fifteen Shane knew he needed a job.  He used his initiative opened the Yellow Pages and rang painting companies until he found one willing to try a new, keen young man.

 

A week later Shane was painting for the company and began his apprenticeship. His successful apprenticeship, which included participation in the NSW State Championships for Painting and Decorating, concluded and Shane set up his own painting business. The success of the business grew and Shane was able to employ and train two apprentices of his own.

 

Shane ran his business successfully for more than 15 years then came to the decision to use his experience and expanded business skills by joining a medium-sized business of 15 painters. Shane's expertise and hard work helped to build the company and three years after his joining, the company grew large enough to involve 60 painters!

 

How did Shane go from an 18 year old business owner, fresh from his apprenticeship, to building a corporate painting company with more than 60 employees? It’s simple: passion, dedication and most importantly, great customer service!

 

After the success in building a strong team of 60 painters, he founded a new company - Paint Pro NSW, a company predicated on top quality painting and guaranteed great customer service.

 

Shane has been able to quickly and seamlessly build a team of professionals around him, all of whom are committed to the impeccable detail that is put into each and every job. It is this commitment to detail that has meant Paint Pro NSW has been able to successfully meet and exceed client’s individual needs day in day out.

 

 

 

Meet our Business Development Manager

 

Helen McBride

 

 

Helen began her relationship with strata while working with a shower repair company for a period of 12 years. Her roles included Operations and Sales Management, both State and National. The company began with an internal Sales team and Helen played an important part in developing and managing a very successful external sales team of 12 in NSW.

 

Helen then moved into the role of NSW Business Development Manager for a national company whose main client base was strata. With Helen's passion, dedication and customer service background and her understanding of strata management she is a valued asset in our team.

 

On a personal level Helen is married with 3 children and has 4 grandchildren. Squash has always played a large part in Helen's life seeing her ranked at State level most of her adult life. One of her most gratifying results came when she won the over 50's world masters.

 

Helen is a result driven person which means you can depend on her delivering to you the best possible service. She wouldn't have it any other way.

 

 

 

Meet our Senior Project Manager

 

Tony Rizkallah

 

 

Tony is a licensed builder and licensed painter and has worked in the building industry for the past 14 years. He began his career as a painter in new work and re-paints.  He then obtained his building licence and also completed a course in carpentry. 

 

Much of his time during his 14 years in the building industry was spent working with a medium-sized building company specialising in building aged care facilities and sporting clubs.

 

In 2011 Tony joined Paint Pro looking for new challenges. We are delighted to have Tony on board as our Project Manager. His skills and valuable experience in painting/building will be a fine contribution to our delivery of quality service.

 

On a personal level Tony has a keen interest in watching and playing rugby league and basketball. He is engaged and plans to marry in September. 

 

 

  

Meet our Senior Estimator

 

Shane Valentine

 

Shane comes from a painting and decorating background and has been in the industry for over 10 years. Over this time he has been involved in various projects ranging from small jobs through to large projects involving high rise buildings and managing teams of painters. Shane is committed to deliver the best possible quality in customer service.

 

On a personal level Shane enjoys playing rugby league.
